Diversified Technologies Inc., the parent company of Sudenga Industries and Dur-A-Lift, is hiring an experienced welder to join our team. We are located just outside of George, Iowa.

Diversified Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team and contribute to the production of reliable, precision-built components. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. DTI provides a competitive wage and benefits package.

The Welder will be responsible for performing MIG welding to assemble or repair metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. This position requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Job Title: Welder
Company: Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding operations on steel, aluminum, or other metals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards.
  • Repair or rework defective welds as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or vocational training preferred.
  • 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes.
  • Knowledge of welding safety practices and OSHA standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control standards.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to work with a team.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with robotic welding systems.
  • Fabrication or fitting experience.
  • Ability to operate additional equipment (press brake, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.).
