DTI, the parent company of Sudenga Industries and Dur-A-Lift, is hiring a full-time mechanical engineer or engineer technician to join our team. We are located just outside of George, Iowa.

Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer or Engineer Technician to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with production, sales, and engineering teams on real-world projects that directly impact manufacturing efficiency, product performance, and customer satisfaction. From concept through production, engineers at DTI play an active role in developing practical solutions for agricultural and aerial equipment applications.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys hands-on collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English to perform essential job duties.

Job Title: Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop products, components, and manufacturing solutions
  • Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and product quality
  • Support new product development from concept through implementation
  • Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with sales and customer service teams to support customer needs and product applications
  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability, cost effectiveness, durability, and safety
  • Participate in prototype development and product testing
  • Maintain engineering BOM documentation and revision control
  • Support cross-functional projects and process improvement efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CAD software and engineering design tools
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
