Smart design. Unmatched access.
The DTAX2-42FP is a telescopic articulating aerial lift designed to deliver both reach and versatility on the jobsite. Offering 47 feet of working height without the need for outriggers, it combines efficient setup with reliable performance. Operators benefit from basket capacities of up to 400 pounds and a boom tip design that makes it possible to reach the backside of structures with ease. A torsion bar system enhances stability, while responsive full-pressure controls provide smooth, featherable operation for precise positioning. Built on a Ford F550 Diesel 4×4 chassis (19,500 GVWR, 7,500 GAWR front axle) with a B&G 132” body, this DTAX2-42FP build is engineered for reliable, versatile performance in demanding applications—all with the protection of Category “C” 46kV insulation.
Access where others cannot—engineered to reach behind obstacles.

Reach up to 47 feet without the use of outriggers. The DTAX2-42FP’s boom tip design helps you clear obstacles and access tough angles — saving time and keeping you productive.

The DTAX2-42FP is part of Dur-A-Lift’s DTAX2 series—a line of telescopic articulating bucket trucks offering working heights from 44 to 49 feet. With options for fiberglass or aluminum baskets, insulated or non-insulated designs, and multiple chassis, body, and tailshelf configurations, it’s built for the way you work. A bottom-mount basket provides extended reach and easier positioning in confined areas, making it an ideal choice for tight-access job sites.
