Engineered for hard-to-reach applications

The DTAX2S-42FP is a non-insulated, telescopic articulating aerial lift offering 47 feet of working height and equipped with a torsion bar for added stability. Designed for single-person operation, the unit features full-pressure controls that provide precise, featherable movements. Its boom tip design enables operators to access the backside of structures not reachable by other lifts. Additionally, the control pod location allows three sides of the basket to be used without interference. Built on a Ford F550 Gas 4×4 chassis (84” CA, 19,500 GVWR, 7,500 GAWR front axle) with a Knapheide 132” body, this DTAX2S-42FP build is engineered for dependable performance and versatility.

Precision control. Reliable stability. Maximum reach.

The DTAX2S-42FP delivers 47 feet of working height with a boom tip designed to reach behind structures other lifts can’t. Stable, precise, and built for performance in the toughest spots.

The DTAX2S-42FP is part of Dur-A-Lift’s DTAX2 series—a line of telescopic articulating bucket trucks offering working heights from 44 to 49 feet. With options for fiberglass or aluminum baskets, insulated or non-insulated designs, and multiple chassis, body, and tailshelf configurations, it’s built for the way you work. A bottom-mount basket provides extended reach and easier positioning in confined areas, making it an ideal choice for tight-access job sites.
