The DPM2-40DU is a telescopic articulating, Category “C” 46kV insulated aerial lift offering 47 feet of working height. It is equipped with a material-handling jib and winch with up to 1,000 lbs. capacity (DU or MH configurations). Mid-mount A-frame outriggers feature a 117.5″ spread at ground, providing a stable platform while maintaining a compact operational footprint. The jib rotates 320 degrees with 10 locking positions for flexible material placement, and a 22″ basket elevator provides added vertical reach. Mounted on a Ford F550 Diesel 4×4 chassis (84″ CA, 19,500 GVWR, 7,500 GAWR front axle) with a BrandFX 126″ body, this DPM2-40DU bucket truck build is engineered for versatile and efficient operation.

MODIFIED A-FRAME OUTRIGGERS

The DPM2-40DU features a modified A-frame, mid-mount outrigger system that deploys to under 10 feet wide—narrower than a single traffic lane. This allows you to safely stabilize the truck without shutting down the entire road, making it easier to work in congested areas while keeping crews and traffic moving.
